This article explores the work of Nicolás Lamas through Loss of Symmetry, an exhibition that creates a conceptual network through its artworks, spanning over the major concerns in the artist’s work: the relationship between the natural and the artificial, his interest on the origin of objects and the possibilities that these elements have to create a multiplicity of senses. This is carried through daily objects literally extracted from the context of sport or game and through works that simulate archaeological fragments, creating internal and external paradoxes between the different elements of the exhibition
