O processo de Recrutamento e Seleção (R&S) é fundamental para o êxito de
qualquer empresa, por ser responsável por identificar, atrair e escolher talentos que
impactam diretamente no desenvolvimento e na competitividade das empresas. O
presente Trabalho Final de Mestrado (TFM) é o resultado de um estágio curricular
realizado na área de R&S no Real Hotels Group, uma empresa do setor hoteleiro. O
estágio permitiu consolidar aprendizagens e competências na área do R&S. O presente
relatório inclui uma revisão da literatura sobre o processo de R&S, enfatizando as suas
aplicações na indústria hoteleira. Descreve o processo no Real Hotels Group, bem como
todas as atividades realizadas durante o estágio, nomeadamente a gestão de anúncios em
diversas plataformas, na triagem curricular, no agendamento de entrevistas e sua
condução. Essa aprendizagem é confrontada, de forma analítica e crítica, com a revisão
da literatura. Neste relatório, e como elemento inovador, são apresentadas três propostas
de melhoria que podem ser implementadas no Real Hotels Group: 1) reformulação do
anúncio; 2) guião para entrevistas telefónicas e presenciais; 3) e Open Day.
The Recruitment and Selection (R&S) process is fundamental for the success of any company, as it is responsible for identifying, attracting, and choosing talents that directly impact the development and competitiveness of companies. This Final Master's Thesis is the result of an internship conducted in the R&S area at Real Hotels Group, a company in the hotel sector. The report begins with a literature review on the concept of recruitment and selection, as well as some of the topics related to these two stages, emphasizing their applications in the hotel industry. Next, the R&S process at Real Hotels Group is described, as well as all the activities carried out during the internship. The internship allowed me to consolidate skills in the development of various stages of the recruitment and selection process, such as managing advertisements on various platforms, curricular screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting phone interviews. This specific learning is analytically and critically compared with the literature review. The final conclusions are also included, and as an innovative element, three improvement suggestions are presented that can be implemented at Real Hotels Group: 1) advertisement, 2) interview guide for phone and in-person interviews, and 3) Open Day.
