Abstract(s)
A diversidade formal dos edifícios, na região de Sintra, apesar do seu ecletismo enraizado, apresenta uma coerência arquitetónica, acabando por adaptar os edifícios e linguagens arquitetónicas de diferentes épocas. A tipologia do edificado do concelho, de malha urbana de traçado orgânico, distingue-se em três categorias: habitacional, comercial e cultural, tendo a freguesia de Colares (concelho de Sintra) como principal característica urbana e tipológica a casa unifamiliar. A Praia Grande, conhecida pelo seu extenso areal e pela prática de desportos ao ar livre, é um local muito acedido pelos turistas.
Neste contexto, surge o presente trabalho cujo objeto de estudo é o antigo Parque de Campismo da Praia Grande que se encontra degradado e abandonado há mais de uma década. No entanto, é urgente a concretização deste parque de campismo face à ausência de outro equipamento desta natureza.
Este trabalho formaliza um plano de intervenção a nível arquitetónico e urbano que sugere a revitalização do espaço e a reabilitação do conceito de parque de campismo, como projeto de habitação temporária.
Com esta intervenção, procura-se criar um equipamento sustentável e bem ordenado que estabeleça o equilíbrio com a paisagem, com o território, com a economia, com a sociedade e com a cultura.
ABSTRACT: The formal diversity of buildings, in the Sintra region, despite its rooted eclecticism, presents an architectural coherence, eventually adapting to the architectural buildings and languages of the different eras. The typology of the building of the county, with an urban layout, distinguishes three classes: housing, commercial and cultural, with a parish of municipalities (municipality of Sintra) as the main urban and typological characteristic of a single-family house. Praia Grande, known for its extensive sand and outdoor sports, is a popular place for tourists. In this context, the present study is the object of study is the former Campsite of Praia Grande that has been degraded and abandoned for more than a decade. However, this campsite is urgently needed in the absence of other such equipment. This work formalizes a plan of intervention at an architectural and urban level that suggests the revitalization of space and the rehabilitation of the concept of camping, as a temporary housing project. This intervention seeks to create a sustainable and well-ordered equipment that establishes the balance with the landscape, the territory, the economy, the society and the culture.
