Abstract(s)
Uma biblioteca académica que serve duas instituições (Faculdade de Psicologia e Instituto de Educação) da Universidade de Lisboa, tendo plena consciência dos benefícios da leitura e sua partilha, procurou ir mais além nos serviços prestados aos alunos, aos investigadores, aos docentes e inclusive aos não-docentes. Relatam-se as motivações, as condições de implementação e manutenção, os sucessos e os insucessos de manter um grupo de leitores numa biblioteca de ensino superior, sempre com a mesma certeza: reunir vozes em torno de uma leitura de fruição é, na academia, construir um espaço de encontro e diálogo onde se exercita o hábito de pensar e aprender fora do contexto técnico-instrumental, possibilitando a expressão, a cada um, das suas ideias e respeitando e valorizando as ideias dos outros.
An academic library that serves two institutions (Faculty of Psychology and Institute of Education), within the University of Lisbon; Full awareness of the benefits of reading and sharing; The desire to go even further in the services provided to students, researchers, teachers and even non-teachers. The motivations, the conditions of implementation and maintenance, the successes and the failures to keep a group of readers in a library of higher education are mentioned, always with the same certainty: to gather voices around a reading of fruition is, in the academy, to construct a space of encounter and dialogue where one exercises the habit of thinking and learning outside the technical-instrumental context, expressing each one's ideas and respecting and valuing the ideas of others.
