A proposta da investigação tem como cerne a identificação dos contributos que a mediação de conflitos, os círculos de construção de paz e a justiça restaurativa podem oferecer ao contexto escolar, tornando eficaz e legítimo o preceito constitucional fundamental à educação igualitária e de qualidade. Essas práticas incentivam uma educação libertária, autônoma, inclusiva, pacifista e democrática, permitindo o pleno desenvolvimento dos que dela participam. Essa é uma tarefa conjunta, que une esforços do Estado, Sociedade, Familiares, Alunos, Professores e todos o que compõem a conjuntura educacional. Escolas que já as implementaram reduziram as taxas de violência e impactaram, positivamente, suas comunidades. Ambientes educacionais democráticos, inclusivos e pacíficos incentivam a participação coletiva, nos quais todos têm voz e resolvem seus conflitos com respeito e empatia, visando a promoção de uma cultura de paz e sustentável.
The research proposal has at its core the identification of the contributions that conflict mediation, peacebuilding circles and restorative justice can offer to the school context, making the fundamental constitutional precept of equal and quality education effective and legitimate. These practices encourage a libertarian, autonomous, inclusive, pacifist and democratic education, allowing the full development of those who participate in it. This is a joint task, wich unites the efforts of the state, society, families, students, teachers and everyone who makes up the educational context. Schools that have already implemented them have reduced violence rates and positively impacted their communities. Democratic, inclusive and peaceful educational environments encourage collective participation, where everyon has a voice and resolves their conflicts with respect and empathy, aiming to promote a peaceful and sustainable culture.
