O presente relatório descreve o trabalho desenvolvido no estágio curricular na Universidade
NOVA de Lisboa. Trata-se de um estudo avaliativo que pretende compreender as relações entre
o Sistema de Garantia da Qualidade do Ensino da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (SQGEUNL)
e as práticas de gestão da qualidade da NOVA Information Management School (NOVA
IMS), uma das suas unidades orgânicas.
Para recolher informação que permitisse dar resposta à pergunta de partida “De que forma as
práticas de gestão da qualidade da NOVA IMS se relacionam com as orientações/princípios
preconizados no SGQE-UNL?”, foram realizadas 6 entrevistas semiestruturadas e análise de
conteúdo de documentos.
A recolha e análise de informação permitem concluir que o Sistema de Garantia da Qualidade
do Ensino da NOVA IMS coloca em prática as orientações provenientes do SGQE-UNL, tendo
em conta as suas características e necessidades. Permitem também evidenciar algumas práticas
a melhorar, no que diz respeito à participação dos estudantes, à divulgação externa dos
resultados e ao envolvimento de outros stakeholders.
This report describes the internship work at NOVA University of Lisbon. It is an evaluative study which aims to understand the relationships between NOVA’s System of Quality Assurance in Education (SQGE-UNL) and the quality management practices of NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS), one of its organizational units. To collect information that would allow to address the initial question "How does NOVA IMS quality management practices relate to the guideline/principles advocated in SGQE-UNL?”, there were six semi-structured interviews and document content analysis. The collection and analysis of the information demonstrates that the System of Quality Assurance in Education of NOVA IMS puts into practice the guidelines from the SGQE-UNL, given their characteristics and needs. They also highlight some practices in need of improvement, with regard to the participation of students, external dissemination of results and the involvement of other stakeholders.
