O presente relatório surge no seguimento do estágio académico realizado na Divisão de Juventude, Desporto e Envelhecimento Ativo (DJDEA) da Câmara Municipal do Funchal, na Região Autónoma da Madeira, com o propósito de finalizar o Mestrado em Gestão de Desporto pela Faculdade de Motricidade Humana. Os principais objetivos com a realização deste estágio passam pela prestação de serviço no local de estágio, vivenciar como se gere o desporto num município e planeamento e organização de iniciativas no âmbito desportivo. Com a presença da pandemia Covid-19, o estágio ficou muito condicionado não sendo possível realizar tudo o que era previsto, no entanto, vou retratar o projeto que organizei, o Ciclo de Conferencias “Desporto e Atividade Física”. Para além disto, neste relatório de estágio irei expor as diferentes temáticas relacionadas com o Desporto, retratar o município do Funchal com diferentes indicadores e o seu contexto desportivo, relatar as minhas atividades e perceções como gestora do desporto e apresentar a minhas reflexões e limitações de todo este processo.
This report follows the academic internship carried out in the Division of Youth, Sport and Active Ageing of the Funchal City Council, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, with the purpose of completing the Master's degree in Sports Management from the Faculty of Human Kinetics. The main objectives of carrying out this internship are the provision of service at the internship site, experience how sport is run in a municipality and planning and organizing initiatives in the sports field. With the presence of the Covid-19 pandemic, the internship was very conditioned and it was not possible to accomplish everything that was foreseen; however, I will portray the project I organized, the Cycle of Conferences "Sports and Physical Activity". In addition, in this internship report I will expose the different themes related to Sport, portray the municipality of Funchal with different indicators and their sporting context, report my activities and perceptions as a sports manager and present my reflections and limitations of this whole process.
