The present theory of master's degree dedicates on the subject of the collection of religious Sacred Art, existent in the Atelier-Museum Municipal António Duarte, of Caldas da Rainha. The main objectives of this study involves the gathering of information about the collector and collection, and the restructuring of the exhibition of this small museum To achieve these goals, we conducted an analysis on the relationship of the sculptor with his collection, thus needing to know your work and your life. Secondly, to better prepare the proposal for a new museological and museolografic discourse, we conducted a contextualization of the works in Portuguese art scene, along with a brief aestheti analysis of the works from the collection. As tertiary and final goal, we propose to establish a whole new replanning of the museum program, and exhibit, not to mention issues such as conservation and accessibility to exposure in order to better serve the public who proposes to move the institution, order to visit her. This work aims in this direction, add something more than what existed up to now, about the collection
