Ao longo da existência da Terra, têm ocorrido diversos períodos de acontecimentos significativos que interferem com o seu desenvolvimento e evolução.
Deste modo, o papel do ser humano é importante, devido às consequências das suas ações ao longo da sua vida. O ser humano é um dos responsáveis pela destruição do Planeta pondo em causa o bem-estar da sua existência.
Estas alterações fizeram-se sentir, principalmente a partir da Revolução Industrial. Deste modo, a Terra sofreu alterações que meteram em causa a biodiversidade e os ecossistemas do Meio Ambiente.
Surge assim, o estudo do conceito da Sustentabilidade na Arquitetura, e da possibilidade de criar soluções mais sustentáveis nesta área sem que este meio seja afetado. Ou seja, a Arquitetura visa um papel importante no pensamento e na projeção destas soluções.
Tendo em conta estes problemas mencionados, este Projeto Final de Mestrado, foi pensado como um ponto de partida para explorar novos métodos e novas relações entre a Arquitetura e a Natureza, tendo sempre consciente a tentativa de minimizar os impactos causados pela construção das habitações.
Throughout Earth's existence, there have been several periods of significant events that interfere with its development and evolution. In this way, the role of human beings is important, due to the consequences of their actions throughout their lives. The human being is one of the responsible for the destruction of the Planet, calling into question the well-being of its existence. These changes were felt, mainly after the Industrial Revolution: The Earth has undergone changes that have brought into question the biodiversity and ecosystems of the Environment. Thus, the study of the concept of Sustainability in Architecture arises, and the possibility of creating more sustainable solutions in this area without affecting this environment. In other words, Architecture plays an important role in thinking and designing these solutions. Taking into account the problems mentioned before, this master’s Final Project was thought of as a starting point to explore new methods and new relationships between Architecture and Nature, always being aware of the attempt to minimize the impacts caused by housing construction.
