| dc.description.abstract | The present work addresses the presence of water in animation, through an analysis of its plastic and figurative representation and its technical development, in the production of different genres and types of animation, based on philosophical and symbolic notions that influence them. Subsequently, there is the implementation of a final and experimental artistic project, in a short animation, which aims to interpret the master's student's emotional and psychological relationship with water, influenced by previous theoretical studies, in particular by Gaston Bachelard's theory of the materialization of dreams, philosopher central to the thesis. The motivations for carrying out this thesis are based on the respect, instilled in the master's student's environmentalist values, towards the subject, as well as the need to develop one of the most disadvantaged elements in the field of animation, despite being one of the most represented, through the creation of a completely biodegradable and edible technique that uses water in a gelatinous state | pt_PT |
