No decorrer do Mestrado em Ciências Empresariais e reconhecendo a relevância
de complementar os conhecimentos teóricos com a experiência prática, decidi avançar
com o relatório de estágio como Trabalho Final de Mestrado (TFM), com o estágio a ter
a duração de três meses e a realizar-se no departamento comercial da Adega Mayor.
O TFM apresenta uma análise aprofundada da experiência vivenciada durante os
três meses. Durante o estágio, notei que a Adega Mayor tinha uma liderança
predominantemente feminina, o que é incomum, quando comparado com a maior parte
das empresas do setor. Sendo assim, este estudo tem como foco principal não apenas as
atividades comerciais desenvolvidas e observadas ao longo do estágio, mas também a
liderança feminina numa atividade predominantemente masculina. Destaca-se assim a
importância de promover a diversidade de género na liderança e a valorização do papel
das mulheres em áreas tradicionalmente dominadas por homens.
Este trabalho é composto por seis capítulos fundamentais. O primeiro inclui uma
revisão de literatura com o intuito de melhorar a compreensão das temáticas abordadas
durante o estágio. O segundo capítulo contextualiza a Adega Mayor e o terceiro consiste
numa descrição da abordagem metodológica utilizada. O quarto capítulo detalha as
atividades executadas no estágio, abordando o confronto entre essas atividades e a sua
correlação com a literatura, por meio da discussão dos resultados obtidos. O capítulo
cinco aborda a metodologia utilizada para investigar a liderança feminina, assim como os
resultados provenientes das entrevistas realizadas. No último capítulo encontram-se as
conclusões, as limitações e as sugestões para futuras pesquisas.
During my Master's Degree in Business Sciences and recognizing the importance of complementing theoretical knowledge with practical experience, I decided to proceed with the internship report as my Final Master's Work (TFM), with a three-month internship in the commercial department of Adega Mayor. The TFM presents an in-depth analysis of the three-month experience. During the internship, I noticed that Adega Mayor had a predominantly female leadership, which is unusual compared to most companies in the sector. As such, this study focuses not only on the commercial activities developed and observed throughout the internship, but also on female leadership in a predominantly male activity. This highlights the importance of promoting gender diversity in leadership and valuing the role of women in traditionally male-dominated areas. This work is made up of six fundamental chapters. The first includes a literature review in order to improve understanding of the topics covered during the internship. The second chapter contextualizes Adega Mayor and the third consists of a description of the methodological approach used. The fourth chapter details the activities carried out during the internship, comparing them with the literature and discussing the results obtained. Chapter five discusses the methodology used to investigate female leadership, as well as the results of the interviews carried out. The final chapter contains the conclusions, limitations and suggestions for future research.
