A IndĂșstria 4.0 ou Quarta Revolução Industrial estĂĄ a acontecer. Esta revolução Ă© caraterizada
por um conjunto de avanços tecnológicos conectados para aumentar a digitalização e
automação na produção.
As tecnologias mais representativas desta indĂșstria sĂŁo o Cyber Physical Systems, a Internet of Things e o Big Data. Outras tecnologias como Realidade Aumentada, Realidade Virtual, ImpressĂŁo 3D e Digital Twin tambĂ©m sĂŁo consideradas como pilares da I4.0.
IndĂșstria FarmacĂȘutica 4.0 ou Pharma 4.0 Ă© o prĂłximo passo para uma produção inteligente. A digitalização na produção fornece informaçÔes para a tomada de decisĂ”es que permitirĂŁo Ă IndĂșstria FarmacĂȘutica atingir novos nĂveis de conectividade, transparĂȘncia, agilidade e produtividade. As novas tendĂȘncias observadas no setor farmacĂȘutico funcionam como drivers de transformação. Incitam a implementação de novos conceitos tecnolĂłgicos. Existe uma necessidade cada vez maior de evolução e otimização da produção farmacĂȘutica.
Este estudo tem como principal intenção contextualizar a IndĂșstria 4.0 no setor farmacĂȘutico. Para isso, foi feita uma revisĂŁo da literatura combinada com a realização de entrevistas a especialistas da IndĂșstria FarmacĂȘutica. A adesĂŁo a tecnologias permite facilitar a produção e o controlo dos processos. Assim, reduzem-se erros e economizam-se os custos de produção. A automação da produção tem o objetivo de simplificar tarefas repetitivas e ajudar na tomada de decisĂ”es. O ritmo de transformação na IndĂșstria FarmacĂȘutica serĂĄ mais lento devido Ă s caracterĂsticas da ĂĄrea de
negĂłcios farmacĂȘutica, incluindo os requisitos regulatĂłrios mais exigentes. No entanto, este setor demonstra-se aberto a implementar os conceitos da IndĂșstria 4.0.
Industry 4.0 or the Fourth Industrial Revolution is currently undergoing. This revolution is characterized by a set of technological advances connected to increase the level of digitization and automation in the production set. The most representative technologies in this industry are Cyber-Physical Systems, Internet of Things and Big Data. Other technologies such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, 3D Printing and Digital Twin are considered as pillars of the I4.0. Pharmaceutical Industry 4.0 or Pharma 4.0 is the next step towards smart production. Digitization in production provides information for decision-making that will allow the Pharmaceutical Industry to reach new levels of connectivity, transparency, agility, and productivity. The new trends observed in the pharmaceutical sector act as drivers of transformation. Encourage the implementation of new technological concepts. There is a growing need for evolution and optimization in the pharmaceutical production. The main intention of this study is to contextualize Industry 4.0 in the pharmaceutical sector. For this, a literature review was carried out, combined with a series of interviews conducted with specialists from the Pharmaceutical Industry. Adherence to technologies allows for production and process control. Thus, errors are avoided, and production costs are saved. Production automation is intended to simplify repetitive tasks and help with decision making. The pace of this transformation in the Pharmaceutical Industry will be slower due to the characteristics of the pharmaceutical business area, including more demanding regulatory requirements. However, this sector is open to the implementation of the concepts of Industry 4.0.
