No âmbito da prática de ensino supervisionada, realizada na Escola Secundária José
Gomes Ferreira, o relatório tem como propósito clarificar a importância da utilização dos
documentos para a construção do conhecimento, na disciplina de História. Ao longo das
aulas que lecionámos procurámos ao máximo mostrar aos alunos de que forma o
conhecimento histórico é construído, introduzindo-os ao “ofício do historiador”, com as
devidas adaptações necessárias ao desenvolvimento cognitivo e objetivos formativos da
disciplina. Para tal, os contributos das teorias de aprendizagem de Jean Piaget e de David
Ausubel foram fundamentais. Desta forma, o relatório procederá a uma reflexão teórica
em torno da importância da utilização dos documentos e procurará clarificar a
metodologia utilizada nas aulas lecionadas a uma turma de 11º ano, na disciplina de
História A, fornecendo exemplos práticos para o tema “O Liberalismo – ideologia e
revolução, modelos e práticas nos séculos XVIII e XIX”.
Within the scope of supervised teaching practice at José Gomes Ferreira high school, this report aims to clarify the importance of using documents to the construction of knowledge, in the discipline of History. During the classes that we taught, we seek to show the students how historical knowledge is constructed, introducing them to the “historian´s craft”, with the necessary adaptations for cognitive development and specific formative objectives of the subject. For this task, the contributes of Jean Piaget and David Ausubel were essential. So, the report will carry out a theoretical reflection concerning to the importance of using documents and will clarify the methodology we used during the lessons to an 11th grade class, in the discipline of History A, giving practical examples for the theme “Liberalism – ideology and revolution, models and practices in the 18th and 19th centuries”.
