| dc.description.abstract | Define-se uníssono quando dois sons vibram com a mesma frequência, em plena sintonia. Isto significa que, desde o início da sua viagem até aos ouvidos de cada um de nós, as diversas partes que constituem esta sensação única viajam pelo espaço numa vibração constante e uniforme. Quando esta lógica se aplica à arquitectura e à música em paralelo enquanto artes do espaço, que correspondência com a expectativa poder-se-ia obter senão uma experiência imersiva, completa e acolhedora? Espaço e som são unos, e através deles a arquitectura e a música encontraram-se em harmonia desde a sua origem. O espaço, este elemento omnipresente e comum a ambas as artes, é o veículo supremo de todas as actividades e criações arquitectónicas e musicais, parceiro do tempo a quem devemos o andamento do espírito, e do som, sem o qual o vazio seria supremo. Descobrir esta mística união entre espaço e som, matéria criativa da arquitectura e música, é essencial para perceber de que forma é que estas duas formas de arte têm dialogado ao longo do desenvolvimento da cultura humana, quais foram as suas lógicas e porventura o rumo que tomarão futuramente. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: Unison is defined when two sounds vibrate with the same frequency, perfectly tuned. This means that, since the beginning of its journey to our own ears, the various parts that make this unique sensation travel thru space in a constant and uniform vibration. When this logic is applied to architecture and music in parallel as arts of space, what match with expectation could we have but an immersive, complete and fulfilling experience? Space and sound are one, and thru them architecture and music meet in harmony since their origins. Space, this omnipresent element common to both arts, is the supreme vehicle of all its architectural and musical creations and activities, partners of time to whom we own the progress of the spirit, and to sound, without which the void would be supreme, Finding out this mystical link between space and sound, music and architecture Creative matter, is essential to understand by which manner these two forms of art have been communicating throughout the development of the human culture, what where its logics and possibly the course they will take in the future.
