| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação propõe-se analisar a razão humana nas suas diferentes vozes, com especial ênfase para a voz textual a qual é aqui concebida como uma voz separada das vozes humanas, quer da oralidade, quer da voz imaginada do pensamento. Com vista a estabelecer essa distinção empreender-se-á uma análise da noção de mimese, derivada de uma imaginação concebida enquanto faculdade independente face à sensibilidade, por meio de uma sua tripartição em mimese por imitação, por simulação e por dissimulação. A partir daqui será possível associar a mimese à actividade da vontade e, por essa via, à noção que Aristóteles, na Poética, associou à mimese trágica, a de catarse. A catarse será concebida como um efeito da mimese, a qual está directamente associada à produção de imitações textuais (e ao desenvolvimento de uma tecnologia alfabética da escrita). A catarse será entendida como a possibilidade de sentir a dor como prazer. A partir daqui proporemos um modelo de transformação estrutural do espaço dramático num espaço político, este último sendo concebido como aquele em que os efeitos da catarse, ao contrário do dramático, não são passíveis de se fazerem sentir. O discurso da filosofia, emergente a partir de Sócrates e de Platão, será descrito como uma resposta, de teor eminentemente irónico (ou temático), para a ausência desses efeitos. A lógica da identidade e da não-contradição será concebida como a forma mais pura desse discurso irónico. Analisaremos também algumas das extensões deste problema no pensamento moderno, em autores tais como Kant, Kierkegaard, Saussure, Wittgenstein, Benjamin, Austin, Heidegger, Barthes, Derrida, Frye, Rorty e Nussbaum. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: The present dissertation proposes to analyse human reason in its different voices with a special emphasis on the textual voice which is conceived as a voice separate from human voice, be that of orality, or of the imagined voice of thought. In order to establish this distinction an analysis of the notion of mimesis, derived from an imagination conceived as a faculty independent from sensibility, will be undertaken by means of its tripartition in mimeses by imitation, simulation and dissimulation. From here it will be possible to associate mimesis to the activity of the will and, through there, to the notion which Aristotle, in the Poetics, associated with tragic mimesis: catharsis. Catharsis will be conceived as an effect of mimesis, which is directly associated to the production of textual imitations (and to the development of an alphabetic technology of writing). Catharsis will be understood as the possibility of feeling pain as pleasure. From here we will propose a model of structural transformation of dramatic space into a political space, the later being conceived as the one in which the effects of catharsis are not to be felt. The discourse of philosophy, issuing from Socrates and Plato, will be described as an answer, of an eminently ironic (or thematic) nature, for the absence of those effects. The logic of identity and non-contradiction will be conceived as the purer form of that ironic discourse.
