Disfunção eréctil – diagnóstico e terapêutica

Esta monografia tem como principal objetivo a revisão dos métodos de diagnóstico e tratamentos usados na disfunção eréctil (DE), tal como a abordagem de assuntos relacionados com estes que ajudem à sua melhor compreensão.
A DE é a incapacidade persistente de obter e/ou manter uma ereção suficiente para a realização de uma relação sexual satisfatória. Esta apresenta diferentes métodos de diagnóstico que permitem a identificação da origem da DE, tal como terapêuticas que podem ser farmacológicas ou não farmacológicas e se subdividem em várias linhas. Para além destas, existe em estudo várias alternativas terapêuticas que se espera que sejam mais específicas e efetivas para a DE.
Uma das conclusões que se tira deste trabalho é que se devia investir mais na prevenção e na informação da população em geral para a DE.
This monograph has as its main goal the review of diagnostic methods and treatments used in erectile dysfunction (ED), such as approach of related issues like these, in order to better understanding the ED. ED is the persistent inability of a man to obtain and/or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. This one presents different diagnostic methods that allow the identification of ED origins, such as therapies that can be pharmacological or nonpharmacological. These therapies can be subdivided into several lines. In addition, there are several alternatives in study which are expected more specificity and effectiveness for ED.
