Resumo(s)
Num olhar atento sobre o estado da cidade de Lisboa, o presente trabalho
faz jus à necessidade de reabilitação do Património Industrial existente.
Mais que isso, denota que o mesmo participa ativamente naquilo que é a
história da cidade de Lisboa, fazendo todo o sentido a sua exaltação ao
invés do seu esquecimento.
O tecido urbano da cidade de Lisboa encontra-se fragmentado, fator que
constitui, na presente proposta, uma oportunidade para repensar esse
tecido na freguesia do Parque das Nações. Caraterizada, atualmente,
por uma desconexão entre duas zonas distintas, aqui a regeneração
do tecido edificado, do espaço público e respetivo elemento verde e a
criação de novos volumes, apresentam-se como hipótese de resolução da
fragmentação existente, tendo por objetivo a consolidação de toda a área.
Integrado nesta proposta urbana, o projeto desenvolvido incide na
reabilitação e consequente consolidação da Rua Centieira, bem como na
reorganização do quarteirão que por esta rua é delimitado.
É investigada a intervenção na rua e no quarteirão que lhe é adjacente, de
modo a responder às necessidades funcionais do local.
No âmbito da reabilitação, pretende-se, assim, abordar a adaptação do
edificado existente a novas funções, bem como a integração de novo
edificado à preexistência.
ABSTRACT: In a careful look at the state of the city, the present work denotes the need to rehabilitate the existing Industrial Heritage. More than that, it denotes that it actively participates in what is the history of the city of Lisbon, making sense his exaltation instead of his ignorance. The urban tissue of the city is fragmented, which constitutes in the present proposal an opportunity to rethink it in Parque das Nações parish. Characterized, currently, by a disconnection between two different zones, the regeneration of built urban tissue, of public space and its green element and the creation of new volumes, are proposed as hypothesis of resolution to the existing fragmentation, aiming the consolidation of all the area. Integrated in this urban proposal, the project focuses on the rehabilitation and consequent consolidation of Rua Centieira, as well as the reorganization of the quarter which is delimited by this street in one of its sides. The intervention is developed in the street and in the adjacent quarter in order to give an answer to the functional need of the place. In the framework of the rehabilitation of the Industrial Heritage, it is intended to approach the adaptation of the existing building to new functions, as well as the integration of the new building to the preexistence.
