O presente relatório de estágio representa o meu percurso enquanto professor estagiário de educação física (EF). Relata as minhas vivências, aprendizagens e estratégias pedagógicas que me guiaram ao longo deste exigente, porém recompensador ano letivo. Através da minha integração na escola pública compreendi as reais funções e importância do trabalho de docente. Ser professor não se resume a lecionar aulas de uma determinada disciplina, vai muito além. Significa educar, estar presente, liderar pelo exemplo, compreender, incluir, ter espírito de iniciativa e tantos outros atributos. O espectro de ação de um docente expande-se muito para lá do processo de ensino-aprendizagem. É assim importante defender a escola pública e os valores que a mesma defende. As oportunidades para todos, o apoio socioeconómico para quem precisa e os valores que devem nortear a sociedade em geral e as novas gerações. Foi também possível percecionar a importância da disciplina de EF. Além do seu papel no desenvolvimento motor dos alunos, é incontestável o seu valor no desenvolvimento social, promoção de estilos de vida saudável e competências que os acompanharão ao longo da vida, ajudando assim na preparação de novas gerações conscientes e com valores de cidadania.
This internship report represents my journey as a trainee teacher of physical education (PE). It reports my experiences, learning and pedagogical strategies that guided me throughout this demanding but rewarding school year. Through my integration in a public school I understood the real functions and importance behind a teacher's job. Being a teacher is not only teaching a certain subject, it goes much further. It means to educate, to be present, to be a role model, to understand, to include, to have a spirit of initiative, and many other attributes. The spectrum of a teacher's action expands far beyond the teaching-learning process. It is thus important to defend the public school and the values that it defends. Opportunities for all, socioeconomic support for those in need, and the values that should guide society in general and the new generations. It was also possible to perceive the importance of the subject of PE. In addition to its role in the motor development of students, its value in social development, promotion of healthy lifestyles and skills that will accompany them throughout life is undeniable, thus helping to prepare new generations with awareness and citizenship values.
