Abstract(s)
Este trabalho foca-se na Reabilitação da área em que o Quartel do Regimento de Lanceiros nº2 (QRL2) está localizado. A estratégia de intervenção parte da premissa de preservar o Edifício Principal reabilitando-o, e, demolindo os armazéns a Sul promovendo a Renovação e Reabilitação de toda a área urbana do Quartel. Conceitos como Conservação e Restauro serão também abordados.
Propomos a transformação do Edifício Principal do QRL2 em alojamentos vocacionados para a autonomização de jovens com idades compreendidas entre os 15 e os 25 anos em situação de acolhimento, sendo este o mote para o trabalho apresentado.
A presença destes jovens na Calçada da Ajuda poderá Revitalizar a área circundante e integrar a juventude na comunidade local. O programa proposto inclui Alojamentos de Autonomização, um Centro Cultural e outro Social e Recreativo e ainda edifícios de Habitação Coletiva. Através desta diversidade de usos procura-se transformar o território do QRL2 numa zona urbana com vivência comunitária, destacando conceitos como Bairro, Comunidade e Vizinhança.
O conceito de Repetição foi utilizado através da criação de células-tipo atendendo à grande extensão do Edifício Norte.
This work focus on the Rehabilitation of the area in which the Quartel do Regimento de Lanceiros nº2 (QRL2) is located. The intervention strategy is based on the premise of preserving the Main Building by rehabilitating it, and demolishing the warehouses to the south, promoting the Renovation and Rehabilitation of the entire urban area of the Barracks. Concepts such as Conservation and Restoration will also be addressed. We propose the transformation of the QRL2 Main Building into accommodation for the autonomisation of young people aged between 15 and 25 in foster care, which is the motto for the work presented. The presence of these young people in Calçada da Ajuda could Revitalise the surrounding area and integrate young people into the local community. The proposed programme includes Independent Living Accommodation, a Cultural Centre and a Social and Recreational Centre, as well as Collective Housing Buildings. Through this diversity of uses, the aim is to transform the QRL2 area into an urban zone with a community feel, highlighting concepts such as Neighbourhood and Community. The concept of Repetition was used through the creation of standard cells, given the large size of the North Building.
