Abstract(s)
Este trabalho pretende, em primeiro lugar através da minha narrativa biográfica, estabelecer um
paralelo entre a minha experiência pessoal e os vários tipos de aprendizagem, com uma análise
reflexiva devidamente argumentada, onde foco as competências-chave que adquiri, sejam elas de
teor académico, técnico ou transversais, e que me proporcionaram ser o que sou hoje como pessoa e
como profissional. Num segundo plano, abordo através de uma contextualização histórica da
Educação e Formação de Adultos em Portugal, nomeadamente a partir de 1974 e a sua evolução na
“era democrática”, de modo a entender as orientações multi-abrangentes das políticas de educação
no nosso país, com vista a alcançar os objectivos definidos e acordados por organizações supranacionais.
Num terceiro momento, elaboro um trabalho empírico – estudo de caso, no Centro Novas
Oportunidades da CAP (Confederação de Agricultores Portugueses), local onde actualmente
desempenho funções de Técnica de Diagnóstico e Encaminhamento.
Tendo em conta o baixo número de adultos que não terminam o percurso a que inicialmente se
propuseram, torna-se num constrangimento para a continuação do funcionamento deste Centro
Novas Oportunidades, quando confrontado com as metas propostas e de acordo com a candidatura
do projecto. Enquanto Técnica de Diagnóstico e Encaminhamento, parece-me fundamental
identificar a causa ou causas que precedem este acontecimento através da metodologia utilizada no
período compreendido entre os anos 2008 e 2010, comparando com o período de Janeiro a Julho de
2011, após as alterações metodológicas introduzidas.
This paper aims, firstly through my biographical narrative, to establish a connection between my personal experience and the various types of learning, with a reflective analysis properly reasoned, where I focus the key skills I acquired, whether they have academic, technical or transverse content, and that made me what I am today as a person and as a professional. Secondly, I have approached through a historical contextualization of “Adult Education and Training” in Portugal, namely from 1974 and its development in the "democratic era" in order to understand the guidelines of the multicomprehensive education policies in our country, to achieve the objectives set and agreed by supranational organizations. Thirdly, I elaborated an empirical work - case study - in the Centro Novas Oportunidades (“New Opportunities Center”) of CAP (Confederation of Portuguese Farmers), where I presently work as Technician of Diagnosis and Guidance. Considering the low number of adults who do not complete the originally proposed path, it becomes a constraint to the future of the Centro Novas Oportunidades (“New Opportunities Centre”), when confronted with the proposed goals and in accordance with the project application. While Technician of Diagnosis and Guidance, it seems crucial to me to identify the cause, or causes, that precede this event through the methodology used in the period between the years 2008 and 2010, compared with the period January to July 2011, after the introduction of the methodological changes.
