Abstract(s)
Music is something important to any culture and society. In Portugal, as in other countries, there are countless musicians or bands, of all musical genres, performing all over the world. With the Covid-19 pandemic and all the measures and restrictions imposed under the state of emergency, as far as shows are concerned, both the venues that host the shows and the musicians who support them, there is a huge risk that many will have to give up their careers to dedicate themselves to another profession that can, in fact, support them. Even in a current scenario, without a pandemic, there is also the limitation that, in most concerts, only those who are present can attend, putting aside many possible spectators who, for some reason, cannot attend. Thus, this project's main goal is to create a digital interactive system that incorporates a concert agenda for musicians and concert halls at a national level and that allows its live broadcast via live streaming or mixed reality. This will enable both musicians and venues to continue working, even if in different ways, thus also giving the possibility to those who were not able to attend the show. For this project, the methodology is mixed, interventionist and non-interventionist, with a qualitative and quantitative base. In the first phase, the exploratory one, a literature review was carried out and a case study was conducted to frame and justify the realization of a project. In the second phase, the generative phase, a project in interaction design was developed, based on the concept of mixed reality, to prove the argument. In the third phase, the evaluative phase, pre-tests, and usability tests were done with users, of a functional prototype, which evaluated not only the interactive flow of the system, but also its concept and content. It is intended with this project, to allow interaction beyond the conventional, between musicians and spectators, providing a closer relationship, and contribute to, all those who directly or indirectly are related to music, continue to enjoy it.
