Orientações motivacionais em estudantes de teatro : um estudo exploratório

| dc.description.abstract | A investigação que apresentamos tem como força motriz a procura do entendimento sobre as orientações motivacionais de uma amostra de estudantes de teatro para a aprendizagem do teatro. Tendo por base um Guião de Entrevista para a Aprendizagem da Arte estruturou-se um guião especializado de forma a entender as orientações motivacionais para a aprendizagem do teatro em dimensões previamente estabelecidas (i.e. Intenção para a Aprendizagem, Percepção das Tarefas de Aprendizagem, Percepção do Tempo despendido na Aprendizagem, Satisfação com a Aprendizagem, Contextos preferidos de Aprendizagem e Investimento na Aprendizagem). Mais concretamente, o estudo procurou: 1) conhecer a intenção dos estudantes para a aprendizagem do teatro; 2) conhecer o investimento dos estudantes na aprendizagem do teatro; 3) conhecer a percepção dos estudantes sobre as tarefas de aprendizagem do teatro; 4) conhecer a valorização dos estudantes do tempo empregue na aprendizagem do teatro; 5) conhecer a satisfação dos estudantes com a aprendizagem do teatro; 6) conhecer o contexto preferido dos estudantes de aprendizagem do teatro. Entrevistámos 16 estudantes de teatro ao nível do ensino superior, provenientes de três instituições diferentes. Sobre os dados, recolhidos da amostra de conveniência, incidiu uma análise de conteúdo temática de tipo intermédio. Essa análise revelou semelhanças e diferenças entre as orientações motivacionais para a aprendizagem teatro e as orientações motivacionais tanto para aprendizagem em geral como para a aprendizagem da arte em particular, Os resultados sugerem ainda a existência de possíveis relações entre as orientações motivacionais dos estudantes de teatro e a forma como aprendem teatro e constroem as suas personagens. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The research we present has its driving force from our demand in understanding the motivational orientations of a sample of drama students on learning theater. Based on one Interview Guide for Learning Art, we structured up a specialized script in order to understand the motivational orientations for theater learning at predetermined dimensions (i.e. Intent for Learning, the Learning Task Perception, perception of time spent in Learning, Satisfaction with Learning, preferred Contexts of Learning and Investment in Learning). Specifically, the study sought to: 1) meet the intent of students to learning theater; 2) know the investment of the students in learning theater; 3) know the perception of students on the theater learning tasks; 4) know the appreciation of the students of the time spent in the theater learning; 5) know the satisfaction of students with learning theater; 6) know the preferred context for learning theater. We interviewed 16 students of theater at the higher education level from three different institutions. On the data collected from a convenience sample, we applied a content analysis. This analysis revealed similarities and differences between the motivational orientations for the theater learning and motivational orientations both for learning in general and, in particular, art learning. The results also suggest the possible existence of relations between the motivational orientations of theater students and how they build their characters. | pt_PT |
