Abstract(s)

This article presents a study about how the contents of an Art Education class are approached, for youths between the ages of 14 and 18 in seven high schools in Porto Alegre. 240 questionnaires were applied in public and private schools. Among the research results, it wasfound that Art Education: brings youths cultural knowledge (15.82%); does not influence their cultural education (14.38%); or: find the classes fun (8.1%)
