O projeto educativo com o título Em busca da perfeição: a reinterpretação de
uma obra em contexto escolar, implementado no ano letivo 2020/2021 na Escola
Secundária José Gomes Ferreira numa turma do 9.º ano, corresponde à realização de um
relatório descritivo, analítico e reflexivo no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada
do Mestrado em Ensino de Artes Visuais da Universidade de Lisboa.
Toma-se como ponto de partida a temática central da busca pela perfeição,
interligada à reinterpretação de uma obra de arte segundo uma abordagem
contemporânea. A vontade em cruzar estes dois pontos manifestou-se naturalmente, uma
vez que, enquanto artista, procuro a perfeição na conceção artística e acredito que a
mesma pode ser um fator que viabiliza a excelência e potencializa o expoente máximo de
criação, e, enquanto docente, acredito que a arte contemporânea despoletou uma
pluralidade de propostas e processos que devem estar ao dispor dos alunos e ser aplicados
no contexto atual da educação. Ainda que a maior parte dos exercícios realizados tenha
partido do processo cópia, não se limitou os mesmos a procedimentos meramente técnicos
e rigorosos. Pelo contrário, procurou-se que o sentido de cópia fosse substituído pelo
sentido de reinterpretação, onde os alunos poderiam acrescentar o seu cunho pessoal
através de um processo de desconstrução e posteriormente de construção de uma nova
imagem. Desta forma, priorizou-se fomentar um espírito crítico que acompanhasse as
componentes de experimentação e expressividade, igualmente solicitadas.
O presente relatório consubstancia-se em modelos educativos, abordagens e
estratégias didáticas, tais como: o modelo mimético-comportamental, o modelo
formalista-cognitivo, a Abordagem Triangular, a Zona de Desenvolvimento Proximal e a
Aprendizagem Significativa. Por sua vez, apresenta-se o contexto onde decorreu a
implementação, considera-se o relatório da prática e dá-se enfâse a todo o processo
desenvolvido, bem como à análise dos resultados obtidos. Perante os dados recolhidos,
verificou-se que a Unidade Didática, contribuiu, de uma forma significativa para que os
alunos compreendessem o papel das trajetórias históricas, entendessem que a busca pela
perfeição sofreu alterações em detrimento de cada paradigma histórico e desenvolvessem
competências gráficas que concorreram para superação de dificuldades inerentes ao
processo de criação.
The educational project entitled Em busca da perfeição: a reinterpretação de uma obra em contexto escolar, implemented in the school year 2020/2021 at the Secondary School José Gomes Ferreira in a 9th grade class, corresponds to the completion of a descriptive, analytical and reflective report under the Supervised Teaching Practice of Masters in Teaching of Visual Arts. It takes as a starting point the central theme of the search for perfection, intertwined with the reinterpretation of a work of art according to a contemporary approach. The will to cross these two points manifested itself naturally, since, as an artist, I seek perfection in artistic conception and believe that it can be a factor that enables excellence and enhances the maximum exponent of creation, and, as a teacher, I believe that contemporary art has triggered a plurality of proposals and processes that should be available to students and be applied in the current context of education. Although most of the exercises carried out were based on the copying process, they were not limited to merely technical and rigorous procedures. On the contrary, it was sought that the sense of copying be replaced by the sense of reinterpretation, where students could add their personal stamp through a process of deconstruction and then construction of a new image. In this way, we prioritized fostering a critical spirit that accompanied the components of experimentation and expressiveness, also requested. This report is based on educational models, approaches and teaching strategies, such as: the mimetic-behavioral model, the formalist-cognitive model, the Triangular Approach, the Zone of Proximal Development, and Meaningful Learning. The context where the implementation took place is presented, the report of the practice is considered, and emphasis is given to the whole process developed, as well as the analysis of the results obtained. In view of the data collected, it was verified that the Didactic Unit contributed in a significant way for the students to understand the role of the historical trajectories, to understand that the search for perfection suffered changes in each historical paradigm and to develop graphic skills that contributed to overcome the difficulties inherent to the creation process.
