Resumo(s)
This book is the follow-up of the exhibition "Drawing(s) under construction", which brought together a selection of drawing graduate students from 2010 (the year the drawing BA degree opened) to 2018 (the turning point, with the new reform of drawing courses), as an initiative coordinated by the GID (Drawing Research Group) and the Drawing Department. It wasn't, therefore, a normal graduation exhibition (the last one had been in 2006), but rather a retrospective balance of the artistic production carried out at different levels and in distinct scientific subdomains by the drawing department. Nor was it intended as an exhibition catalog (which it also is), but as a testimony to this work, especially during a transitional period in which three important professors in the history of this department left (Pedro Saraiva, Luísa Arruda and António Pedro Marques). The exhibition opened on December 20th, 2018, and this later book is intended to mark this important turning point, leaving a testimonial mark of the artistic research made in this domain and a reference to the drawing building, always under "construction", at FBAUL.
