O presente projeto foi realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Tradução tendo como objetivo a tradução comentada do livro Princípio de Karenina (2018), do escritor português Afonso Cruz.
O objetivo do trabalho foi realizar uma primeira experiência de tradução literária através da tradução para o espanhol de uma novela completa, com a intenção de apresentar uma tradução que fosse ao encontro da cultura e língua de chegada. O seguinte relatório apresenta uma serie de reflexões e dificuldades de tradução que surgiram ao longo do processo, junto com as resoluções encontradas.
A intenção do projeto e aproximar a literatura portuguesa ao publico espanhol através da tradução de um dos autores contemporâneos mais destacados.
This project was carried out as part of the Master's degree in Translation, with the aim of producing a commented translation of the book Princípio de Karenina (2018), by the Portuguese writer Afonso Cruz. The aim was to perform the experience of literary translation for the first time by translating a complete novel into Spanish language, with the intention of presenting a translation that meets the culture and language of the target audience. The following report presents a series of reflections and the difficulties of translation that arose during the process, together with the solutions found. The aim of the project is to bring Portuguese literature closer to the Spanish public through the translation of one of the most outstanding contemporary authors.
