Na atualidade, vivemos numa sociedade em que as tecnologias estão em constante mudança, num dia existem dispositivos com tecnologias topo de gama e no dia seguinte estão ultrapassados. Devido a esta evolução, assistimos a uma mudança em que o paradigma a seguir é a Internet of Things.
Com a chegada desta nova tecnologia ocorrem mudanças nas pessoas, empresas e negócios, de uma forma ou de outra todos têm de se adaptar, tirando partido destas mudanças.
Este estudo foca-se na análise da aceitação das tecnologias IoT em websites de e- commerce por parte dos utilizadores, bem como na identificação dos factores influenciadores, propondo um modelo conceptual baseado na Teoria Unificada de Aceitação e Uso de Tecnologia 2 (UTAUT2), juntamente com outras variáveis consideradas necessárias. Foi escolhida uma abordagem quantitativa baseada em questionários aplicados a uma amostra de 328 inquiridos. A análise dos dados foi realizada através do PLS (Partial Least Squares) e SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Os resultados obtidos confirmam a validade do modelo proposto e permitem analisar a intenção dos utilizadores relativamente ao uso de tecnologias IoT em websites de e- commerce. Nesta análise foi possível verificar que os factores com maior influência na intenção de Uso e no Uso do IoT em websites de e-commerce, são o Hábito, a Diversão Percebida e a Utilidade.
Today, we live in a society where technologies are constantly changing, one day there are devices state ? of ? art technologies and the next day are outdated. Proper to this evolution, we have observed a change, in which the following paradigm is the Internet of Things. With the arrival of this new technology happen changes in people, companies and businesses, in one way or another all should adapt taking advantage of these changes. This study focuses on the analysis of the acceptance of IoT technologies in e-commerce websites by users, as well as on the identification of influencing factors proposing a conceptual model based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) along with other variables considered necessary. A quantitative approach was chosen based on questionnaires applied to a sample of 328 respondents. Data analysis was performed through PLS (Partial Least Squares) and SPSS (Statistical Package of the Social Sciences). The results obtained confirmed the validity of the proposed model and allow to analyze the intention of the users regarding the use of IoT technologies in e- commerce websites. In this analysis, it was possible to verify that the factors with greatest influence on the Intention of Use and Use, are Habit, Perceived Enjoyment and Utility.
