Resumo(s)
This theoretico-practical thesis is centered on the production of two bodies of
practical work, which have been translated into distinct exhibitions. The first one took place in 2010 in Fundação Carmona e Costa. The second one took place in Parkour exhibition space in 2014. In the reflection about these two bodies of work, the theoretical dimension decomposes the creative process, gradually approaching its decisive instant, the instant before the pencil touches the paper. Taking the event, as search for the real, as a point of departure, we analyze and historically frame the concrete creative behavior, concluding that it contains an apparently unsurpassable duality: a sensitive dimension and an active dimension, between which there seems to be no communication. Theatricality then emerges as a specific behavior permitting to surpass that inherent contradiction of the creative process
