O presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio curricular do
mestrado em Educação e Formação, na área de especialidade de Desenvolvimento
Social e Cultural, do Instituto de Educação da Universidade de Lisboa. O estágio
decorreu num Centro Qualifica, inserido num agrupamento de escolas e localizado na
zona oeste do país, entre 2022 e 2023.
O trabalho realizado em contexto de estágio recaiu, essencialmente, na execução
de tarefas inerentes ao quotidiano de um Centro Qualifica, especialmente no que
concerne aos processos de Reconhecimento, Validação e Certificação de Competências
(RVCC) e ao curso Português Língua de Acolhimento (PLA). Adicionalmente,
demonstrou-se oportuno o desenvolvimento de um trabalho de investigação, que surgiu
através da simbiose entre os interesses e curiosidades da autora e as necessidades
reconhecidas pela entidade de estágio. O estudo desenvolvido teve como questão de
partida: “Que perceções têm os adultos sobre os processos de RVCC?” e procurou
apurar as motivações, impressões e expectativas dos adultos face a esse processo. A
investigação qualitativa baseou-se na realização de entrevistas e de observação
participante, com posterior análise de conteúdo através do software NVIVO.
Os resultados obtidos evidenciaram que os adultos procuram aumentar as suas
qualificações com a intenção de melhoria de imagem social, de valorização simbólica e
de progressão profissional. Os dados indicam ainda que os adultos apresentam uma
perceção predominantemente positiva relativamente à estruturação e organização do
processo, bem como da escrita autobiográfica e do apoio dos formadores e técnicos.
This report was developed within the scope of a curricular internship in the Master’s Degree in Education and Training, in the specialized field of Social and Cultural Development, at the Instituto de Educação (Education Institute) of Universidade de Lisboa (University of Lisbon). The internship took place in a Centro Qualifica, inserted in a grouping of schools, localized in the west region of Portugal, between 2022 and 2023. The work accomplished in the context of the internship covered, essentially, the fulfillment of tasks inherent to the daily routine of a Centro Qualifica (Qualification Center), especially regarding the processes of Recognition, Validation and Skills Certification and the Portuguese Language of Reception course. Moreover, the development of research work was opportune, which arose through the symbiosis between the interest and the curiosity of the author, and the needs recognized by the internship entity. The study had as a key starting question: “What perceptions do adults have regarding the RVCC processes?” and sought to ascertain adults’ motivations, impressions, and expectations towards this training offer. Methodologically, interviews and participant observation work were carried out, with subsequent content analysis by way of the NVIVO software. The results attained highlight that adults seek to increase their qualifications with the intents of social image improvement, symbolic valuation and professional progression. Data also indicates that adults have a predominantly positive perception in regards to the process structure and organization, as well as of autobiographical writing and the support from trainers and technicians.
