This experience reports reflections on the art experiment taken with indigenous students from state school in the city of Ipuaçu/SC/ Brazil, developed by the Program "PIBID". The suggestion aimed to retrieve the Kaingang kids daily play and finished by painting on the toy library walls; they did it based on books, on art works from Brazilian artists and on community research
