Um crescente número de organizações tem implementado as suas operações de negócio através de projetos. A partilha de conhecimento é considerada especialmente importante dentro de ambientes de projeto, fazendo com que a integração da gestão do conhecimento à gestão de projetos seja necessária. O objetivo desta investigação é estudar como a partilha de conhecimento é enquadrada dentro do contexto de projeto, e qual a perceção dos indivíduos pertencentes à equipa de projeto em relação à mesma. Uma equipa de projeto numa empresa no setor financeiro foi analisada através de um estudo de caso. Os dados dos obtidos foram compilados e analisados através do Excel, e categorizados para observar a frequência dos tópicos mencionados pelos respondentes. O estudo confirmou a importância da partilha de conhecimento, tanto ao nível dos gestores e profissionais de gestão de projetos, quanto ao nível da organização e conclui que, não obstante a falta de incentivos por parte da gestão de topo, os membros das equipas de projeto consideram que a partilha de conhecimento é essencial para a execução dos seus projetos.
A growing number of companies have been implementing their business operations through projects. Knowledge sharing has been considered as especially essential in project environment, therefore the integration of knowledge management within project management becomes necessary. The objective of this investigation is to study how knowledge sharing is integrated within the context of a project, and what is the perception of project team members in relation to it. A project team, belonging to a company from the financial sector was analysed through a case study. The data collected was compiled and analysed through Excel, and categorized to observe the frequency of the topics mentioned by the inquired. The study revealed that there is a conscience regarding the importance of knowledge sharing from project managers and other professionals in project management, and the organization itself, and it concludes that regardless of the lack of incentives by top management, project team members consider that knowledge sharing is essential for the execution of their projects.
