A Aprendizagem entre Pares no Ambiente de Trabalho em Organizações de Tecnologia e
Sistemas de informação foi o tema investigado no âmbito desta dissertação, que teve como base
o seguinte problema: como é que a aprendizagem entre pares se desenvolve em organizações da
área de tecnologia e sistemas de informação?
Nesta pesquisa buscou-se compreender como é desenvolvida a aprendizagem em
ambiente de trabalho, no âmbito da aprendizagem entre pares e do desenvolvimento profissional,
em contexto de redes de aprendizagem e das mídias sociais, que propiciam caminhos para a
partilha de conhecimento e realização de aprendizagens.
A pesquisa seguiu uma abordagem mista com a combinação de métodos de pesquisa
quantitativo e qualitativo. Para a recolha de dados utilizaram-se as técnicas inquérito por
questionário e entrevista. Primeiramente, através do questionário distribuído online foi possível
recolher a perspectiva de profissionais da área de tecnologia e sistemas de informação sobre a
aprendizagem entre pares no ambiente de trabalho. Na sequência, discutimos os resultados
obtidos com um líder de equipa, um gestor/coordenador de área e um mentor através de
realização de entrevistas, que foram primordiais para a discussão dos resultados obtidos,
explorando-os.
Para o tratam ento de dados desta pesquisa, foi realizada análise estatística descritiva dos
dados obtidos através do questionário e análise de conteúdo dos dados recolhidos nas entrevistas.
Essas análises nos revelaram que os profissionais atribuem importância em relação aos principais
temas envolvidos ao dia a dia de trabalho, e que são referidos como meios de aprendizagem no
local de trabalho. Podemos citar a comunicação facilitada através de ferramentas (softwares), a
organização do trabalho, onde métodos e processos de trabalho são organizados e propiciam um
melhor aprendizado, e por fim, temos as questões que envolvem gestão e liderança. Temas esses
que são considerados pilares para a adoção de práticas de incentivo à aprendizagem no local de
trabalho. Também chegamos à conclusão que as organizações de tecnologia de informação não
incentivam ou promovem ambientes onde profissionais possam maximizar o aprendizado. No
mesmo ensejo, também não é comum ter iniciativas de líderes e gestores no apoio à
aprendizagem no local de trabalho.
Peer Learning in the Work Environment in Organizations of Technology and Information Systems was the theme investigated in the scope of this dissertation, which was based on the following problem: how does peer learning develop in organizations in the area of technology and systems of information? In this research, we sought to understand how is learning development in the workplace, in the context of peer learning and professional development, in the context of learning networks and social media, which provide pathways for knowledge sharing and learning achievement. The research followed a mixed approach with a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods. For the collection of data, the techniques of inquiry by questionnaire and interview were used. First, through the questionnaire distributed online, it was possible to collect the perspective of professionals in the field of technology and information systems on peer learning in the workplace. Next, we discussed the results obtained with a team leader, an area manager/coordinator and a mentor through interviews, which were essential for discussing the results obtained, exploring them. For the treatment of data in this research, descriptive statistical analysis of the data obtained through the questionnaire and content analysis of the data collected in the interviews was performed. These analyzes revealed that professionals attach importance in relation to the main themes involved in their daily work, which are referred to as means of learning in the workplace. We can mention the communication facilitated through tools (software). The organization of work, where work methods and processes are organized and provide better learning, and finally, there are issues involving management and leadership. These themes are considered pillars for practical adoptions to encourage learning in the workplace. However, we have also concluded that information technology organizations do not encourage or promote environments where professionals can maximize learning. At the same time, it is also not common to have initiatives from leaders and managers to support learning in the workplace.
