Abstract(s)
The present investigation aims to develop a new creative methodology, which can be applied to a typographic design, which can effectively influence the creation of typographic fonts directly influenced by the illustration, having as object of study as existing Creative Methodologies and Theory and History of different Type Design processes. It collects information related to Creative Methodologies, exploring, and analyzing applied Creative Thinking in the different Design processes. Through and concepts in these acquired areas, they analyze methods that they adopt in typographic design and terms of typographic design fonts in the process of creating typographic design fonts. In the investigation, a mixed methodology is used, of an interventionist and non-interventionist qualitative basis. Firstly, a non-interventionist methodology is used, constituted by the criticism of the literature and the construction of its theoretical framework. Subsequently, in the design phase, a qualitative interventionist methodology was used, which results in the development of a creative methodology and its application in the design and production of typefaces. This study contributes to a consciential conception of existing methods, diversity of areas of typographic design, essentially encouraging creativity as different, deepening how to know, create and imagine. The intention to create and imagine are intrinsically linked to the creation of typographic fonts, fundamental through their methodologies. Thus, the present study also contributes with a presentation of original sources and, with a method that can be applied by other people who can even analyze its efficiency
