This article seeks to demonstrate how, from one same theme, it is possible to create units with different contents, purposes and didactics. Within it, we present five different approaches, surrounding the concept of identity, conceived and implemented/taken part in by the students from the Visual Arts Teaching Masters of the University of Lisbon, in a dynamic where they alternated between the role of teachers and students. Finally, we present the conclusions of this experiment, by weaving a dialogue between the reflections that were, both individually and collectively, reached by them
