Mecanismos de resposta das plantas à clorose férrica: uma revisão

Abstract

In this work, the information available on the mechanisms of response to iron chlorosis that is needed for the characterization and selection of plants tolerant to iron deficiency was presented. The behaviour of plants faced with iron deficiency, and the physiological and biochemical processes associated with each adaptation mechanism, both in shoots and roots, were described. Finally, the degree of tolerance of several species was briefly discussed
