Da cidade à natureza

Abstract

Este trabalho tem por finalidade intervencionar o Vale de Alcântara, no intuito de nele coabitarem diversas valências citadinas com a Natureza. Esta última vertente, atualmente, quase inexistente, atuará em benefício quer dos residentes, quer da cidade em geral. Considerando a orografia do Vale, o seu atravessamento pela Avenida de Ceuta e a profunda degradação da habitação, proponho-me requalificar o Vale. Tal intervenção obedecerá a um plano urbanístico totalmente distinto da atual realidade, pretendendo criar várias áreas com finalidades e espacialmente distintas, mas correlacionadas. Para tal, desenhar-se-á uma intervenção na atual Avenida de Ceuta que atravessa o seio do Vale, relocalizando-a. A Avenida de Ceuta apresentar-se-á como um renovado eixo rodoviário da cidade de Lisboa, alterar-se-á a sua implantação e funcionará como porta de entrada para o Vale de Alcântara. Pretende-se a criação de um vasto espaço renaturalizado, nele integrando uma mancha verde com a plantação de árvores e plantas, com a introdução de um espaço lacustre e zonas de repouso, tudo integrado em percursos pedonais, ciclovias e circuitos de manutenção. Neste projeto, a grande novidade em termos construtivos, na vertente Oeste do Vale, respeita à criação de uma nova zona residencial parcialmente destinada a realojar atuais moradores locais, com a inclusão de comércio e serviços. Sugerir-se-á a reabilitação da denominada Fábrica da Pólvora. Deste modo, pretende-se uma área residencial atrativa, proporcionando um espaço convidativo, contrariando a realidade e as vivências do espaço no presente. Na vertente Este, já ocupada com moradias unifamiliares e edifícios de habitação de pequena dimensão, proceder-se-á apenas a reabilitação das habitações unifamiliares. No intuito de integrar as duas vertentes Este/Oeste suprarreferidas, prevê-se a criação de infraestruturas de circulação, a saber, meios elevatórios e uma ponte pedonal que atravessará o Parque Verde.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this work is to intervene Vale de Alcântara so that in it, several city valences may cohabit with Nature. This last strand, currently almost nonexistent, will work for the benefit of both residents and the city in general. Considering the orography of the Valley, its crossing through Avenida de Ceuta, and the significant degradation of housing, it is my purpose to requalify the valley. Such intervention will obey an urban plan totally different from the current reality, intending to create several areas, spatially different from one another but with correlated purposes. To achieve this, an intervention will be done in the existing Avenida de Ceuta, relocating the road which crosses the heart of the valley. Avenida de Ceuta will present itself as a new integrated road in the city of Lisbon, its implantation will change and will work as a gateway to the Valley. The intention is to create a wide renatured space, with a green area of trees and plants, with a lake and rest areas, with pedestrian and cycle paths and maintenance circuits. In this project, the big innovation in building terms, on the west side of the valley, concerns the creation of a new residential area, partially destinated to relocate residents, provided with shops and services as well. The rehabilitation of the so-called Fábrica da Pólvora will be suggested. In this way, an attractive residential area will be created, providing an inviting space, in opposition to nowadays reality and the living space experiences of the present. On the East side slope, already full of single-family houses and small residential buildings, we will only suggest the rehabilitation of those houses. On the East / West slopes mentioned above, it is planned to create communicating infrastructures, namely elevating structures and a pedestrian bridge that will cross Parque Verde.
