Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho de pesquisa teve como objetivo perceber quais as ações,
estratégias e oportunidades de educação não-formal na Biblioteca Nacional de
Brasília, no período entre 2009 e 2019. Neste contexto, foi feita uma pesquisa
teórica sobre os conceitos de educação formal, educação não-formal e biblioteca
pública. Procedeu-se a uma breve exposição a respeito da Biblioteca Nacional
de Brasília, desde o seu projeto de criação até aos dias atuais. Foram tratadas
as temáticas sobre educação formal, não-formal e informal, a fim de diferenciálas.
De igual maneira, fez-se uma abordagem sobre a biblioteca pública e o seu
cenário no Brasil, seguida do enfoque da educação não-formal nas bibliotecas.
O trabalho apresenta os resultados apurados através de inquérito por
questionário. Os inquiridos foram pessoas que participaram no processo de
elaboração e execução das atividades de educação não-formal na Biblioteca
Nacional de Brasília. Foram formuladas sete perguntas semiabertas, com a
finalidade de obter dados sobre as práticas, estratégias e oportunidades de
educação não-formal realizadas na BNB, no período estudado. Algumas das
respostas são controversas quanto à afirmação de que as necessidades dos
utilizadores foram atendidas, no entanto, não houve estudos que identificassem
tais necessidades. Assinalam-se, nos resultados apurados, diversas ações e
oportunidades de aprendizagem não-formal ocorridas na BNB, evidenciando o
seu papel educativo e a sua responsabilidade social junto da comunidade.
The present research work aimed to understand what the actions, strategies, and opportunities for non-formal education in the National Library of Brasília are, in the period between 2009 and 2019. In this context, a theoretical research was carried out on the concepts of formal education, non-formal education, and public library. A brief exposition was made about the National Library of Brasília, from its creation project to the present day. The themes of formal, non-formal and informal education were dealt with to differentiate between them. Likewise, an approach was made about the public library and its scenario in Brazil, followed by the focus on non-formal education in libraries. The work presents the results ascertained through a questionnaire survey. The respondents were people who participated in the process of preparation and execution of non-formal education activities in the National Library of Brasília. Seven semi-open questions were formulated, with the purpose of obtaining data on the practices, strategies and opportunities of non-formal education carried out at the BNB, in the period studied. Some of the answers are controversial regarding the statement that the users' needs were met, however, there were no studies identifying such needs. The results show several actions and opportunities for non-formal learning that took place at the BNB, highlighting its educational role and its social responsibility to the community.
