Abstract(s)

Of the three closo-carborane isomers (C2B10H12), 1,7-carborane has been used in the synthesis of carboxamides. The 1,7-dicarba-closo-dodecaboranes, representing a new class of nitrogenated carborane derivatives, were synthetized using the COMU-method described, starting from commercially available aromatic primary amines and C-monosubstituted m-carboranes. These new compounds were fully characterized by 1H, 13C and 11B NMR and IR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
Dos 3 isómeros do closo-carborano (C2B10H12), o 1,7-carborano tem sido usado na síntese de carboxamidas. Os 1,7-dicarba-closo-dodecaboranos, os quais representam uma nova classe de derivados azotados de carboranos, foram sintetizados usando o método de COMU descrito, partindo das aminas aromáticas primárias comercialmente disponíveis e dos m-carboranos C-monossubstituídos. Estes novos compostos foram completamente caracterizados por espectroscopia RMN 1H, 13C e 11B e IV, e espectrometria de massa.
