In the survey stage, agroup of Brazilian and Portuguese designers were consulted, with different agegroups and work forms – partners of their own companies, employees of largecompanies, autonomous professionals, etc. – who answered questions about their academic and professional background and their perceptions about gender issues in this environment. It is hoped that this research will contribute to a greater recognition and visibility of women in this environment and a deeper understanding of the setting in which they are inserted, so that, every day, graphic design is a gender equality environment
