O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Atividade de Aprofundamento de Competências Profissionais, que pertence ao segundo ano do Mestrado em Reabilitação Psicomotora, da Faculdade de Motricidade Humana. Este relatório expõe e descreve o estágio realizado no Polo de Almada do Centro de Desenvolvimento Infantil Diferenças e divide-se em três partes. A primeira parte diz respeito ao enquadramento da prática profissional, que inclui a apresentação da instituição, uma revisão da literatura sobre o desenvolvimento típico e atipicidades, como a mucopolissacaridose tipo II e problemas de linguagem e comunicação. Inclui ainda uma revisão da literatura sobre a intervenção precoce e a intervenção psicomotora. A segunda parte corresponde à apresentação da componente prática desenvolvida durante o período de estágio, incluindo análises dos estudos de caso individuais, os processos de avaliação e intervenção e a apresentação de outros casos observados e acompanhados. Por fim, são apresentadas as atividades complementares realizadas no âmbito do estágio, mais especificamente a adaptação e tradução de um caderno de atividades Numicon bem como a revisão da tradução da ferramenta de avaliação Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA), bem como a conclusão do relatório, com foco nos desafios e aprendizagens experienciadas durante o ano letivo 2022/2023.
This report was written as part of the Professional Skills Development Course, which is part of the second year of the master’s degree in Psychomotor Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Human Motricity. The report presents and describes the internship carried out at the Almada branch of the Centro de Desenvolvimento Infantil Diferenças and is divided into three parts. The first part concerns the professional practice framework, which includes the presentation of the institution, a literature review on development and atypicities, such as mucopolysacccharidosis type II and language and communication problems. It also includes a review of the literature on early intervention and psychomotor intervention. The second part corresponds to the presentation of the practical component developed during the internship period, including analyzes of individual case studies, assessment and intervention processes, and the presentation of other cases observed and monitored. Finally, the complementary activities carried out during the internship are presented, more specifically the adaptation and translation of a Numicon activity booklet, as well as the translation review of the Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA) assessment tool, as well as the completion of the report, focusing on the challenges and learnings experienced during the 2022/2023 school year.
