Abstract: | The Growing Challenge of Pandemics: The increasing frequency and impact of pandemics globally, highlights the need for proactive strategies. Geospatial Analysis as a Key Tool: Mapping and spatial data have a key role in understanding and combating pandemics. Case Studies: Dengue in Europe and respiratory diseases (Pneumonia and COVID-19) in Portugal—as examples of the relevance of such strategies. Objective: Set the stage for exploring comprehensive strategies, linking data-driven insights to actionable outcomes. |
