Resumo: | This theoretical-practical investigation reflects on the potentialities of expanding vision, moving from a bodily perspective to the possibility of uploading the mind into a digital medium. Multiple perspectives were brought into dialogue, questioning the principles of philosophy, neuroscience, and physics through a systemic approach that culminated in an essay film created with images generated by Artificial Intelligence. The theoretical research was based on qualitative bibliographic analysis, resulting in a set of essayistic and critical reflections that converged into the development of the essay film. Technical methodologies, such as prompts (text-to-image and image-to-image), were employed to generate the film's scenes using the AI software RunwayML. For the creation of the voice-over, after writing the text featured in the film, the content was digitized and converted into audio using AI tools. The film was edited using conventional techniques, shot by shot, on Avid Media Composer. The prompts that inspired the scenes were envisioned from the theoretical foundation of the project. Images of a futuristic square, algorithms, mineral exploration, a digitalized mind, and the cosmos were key references derived from the themes of the chapters and were narratively developed in the essay film through parallel editing. The co-authorship with a non-human intelligence is explored in the creation of the audiovisual project, questioning the machine's capacity for abstraction. [«]» Vision from All Places contributes to the digital flow that will prevail in the future, as well as proposes a co-creation process that combines human and artificial minds, expanding the boundaries of cinema. According to AI itself, this could be termed [«]» cine-algorithm |
