compõem a Unidade Didática.
This report was written to accompany and support the supervised teaching process taking place in the final year of the Teaching Visual Arts Master’s degree. Its’ primary objective is to describe, analyse and reflect on the project developed with a 10th grade class at Escola Secundária Quinta do Marquês. This curricular unit was planned for the subject of Desenho A. This report was oriented by Professor Odete Palaré and was accompanied at the school by the teachers José Pedro Morais and teacher Clara Berger. The project takes its title—Futurist Flowers—directly from the body of work created by the artist Giacomo Balla during the 1920s and also serves as the theme for the curricular unit. The report follows the structure established by the Master's programs and is divided into two parts: the first one deals with the theoretical framework of the unit, and the second part relates to the pedagogical project and its implementation, concluding with the analysis of the results. The choice of Balla's work to guide the unit is due to the fact that the curricular unit’s main objective is the construction of tridimensional objects through bidimensional drawing exercises. Through the observation of the final results, it was possible to discover that the class achieved increasingly satisfactory outcomes throughout the unit and that they were able to meet the established goals and objectives, successfully completing all the stages that made up the project.
