Este trabalho procura compreender a dinâmica subjacente ao financiamento público das organizações do terceiro sector que trabalham com imigrantes, num concelho periférico de Lisboa. Desntro desta análise pretende-se reflectir sobre a relação existente nesta dinâmica, assim como sobre a sustentabilidade e impacto deste tipo de financiamento nas organizações do terceiro sector. Utilizando uma abordagem longitudinal no estudo permite identificar o tipo de dinâmicas existentes no concelho e delinear algumas considerações que contribuam para um melhor entendimento da prática exercida.
The present research aims to understand the dynamic underlying the public funding od third sector organizations working with immigrants populations, in a peripheral municipality of greater Lisbon. Within the scope of this analysis, we aim to reflect on the relationship between these two factors, as well as the sustainability and impact of public funding in such organizations. Using a longitudinal approach, the study identifies the types of dynamics existing in the municipality and proposes some considerations contributing to a abetter understanding of the practices.
