Devido a um Vale de Alcântara marcado pelas infraestruturas, desenvolvidas no século XX, tornando o carro como figura principal, onde é notória a rutura deste território e a destruição do seu sistema natural, surge o presente trabalho que, através da memória do lugar, pretende criar um Vale sustentável desagregado das infraestruturas, reconectando-o aos habitantes.
No desenho de um novo Vale pretende-se a renaturalização do mesmo. A ribeira de Alcântara, sendo o elemento estruturante da proposta, é trazida à superfície e os terrenos férteis são transformados em campos agrícolas, sendo assim criado um corredor verde, com a implementação de espaços de lazer, que faz a ligação do Vale de Alcântara com a restante cidade de Lisboa.
É proposto ainda, no desenho da definição da frente urbana em limite com o Vale, a articulação da nova malha urbana com o novo parque urbano, com uma componente de multifuncionalidade do espaço, consolidando as zonas fragmentadas através da colmatação de novos edifícios com os pré-existentes. O projeto de habitação, no Bairro da Bela Flor, propõe a criação de habitações sustentáveis, economicamente, socialmente e ambientalmente, através da sua materialidade, técnicas construtivas e da sua flexibilidade.
Due to an Alcântara Valley marked by infrastructures, developed in the XX century, making the car as the main figure, where the rupture of this territory and the destruction of its natural system is notorious, the present work arises that, through the memory of the place, intends to create a sustainable Valley disconnected from the infrastructures, reconnecting it to the inhabitants. In the design of a new Valley it is intended the renaturalization of the same. The Alcântara creek, being the structural element of the proposal, is brought to the surface and the fertile lands are transformed into agricultural fields, thus creating a green corridor, with the implementation of leisure spaces, that connects the Alcântara Valley with the rest of the city of Lisbon. It is also proposed, in the design of the definition of the urban front in limit with the Valley, the articulation of the new urban mesh with the new urban park, with a component of multifunctionality of the space, consolidating the fragmented areas through the filling of new buildings with the pre-existing ones. The housing project, in Bairro da Bela Flor, proposes the creation of economically, socially and environmentally sustainable housing, through its materiality, construction techniques and flexibility.
