The European Convention on Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union provide an extensive catalogue of features that must not be used as a ground for discriminatory treatment. However, some of these features have received little attention so far. In this study, we propose to analyse
some of these forgotten prohibitions of discrimination, focusing on the following grounds for discrimination: “political or any other opinion”, “social origin”, “property” and “other status”
