| dc.description.abstract | As salas de aula dos cursos de Arte e Design não evoluíram com os tempos, utilizando um mobiliário escolar e um layout de sala muito tradicionais, que não favorecem e degradam a saúde e bem-estar dos alunos. Estas não estão preparadas para os seus materiais de trabalho e as ações necessárias para realizar os projetos - impactando a sua produtividade. É possível observar um mobiliário danificado pelo tempo e uso, de difícil manutenção e inadequado para o cenário e tempo-espaço onde se insere. No desenvolvimento desta investigação e projeto final foi utilizado o uso de uma metodologia mista, usando métodos intervencionistas, não intervencionistas e qualitativos, com o propósito de fundamentar o projeto e produzir da melhor maneira o equipamento para o utilizador. O processo foi dividido em três fases metodológicas: exploratória, generativa e avaliativa. Neste documento é possível observar-se o enquadramento teórico das diversas áreas de investigação: educação, saúde e bem-estar, design e engenharia. A fase exploratória baseia-se em fundamentos mais teóricos - revisão da literatura, análise de casos de estudo, do mercado onde o produto final se vai inserir e observação do público-alvo final em contexto de sala de aula. A fase generativa foca-se na geração de conteúdos, com entrevistas realizadas para melhor entender os aspectos administrativos das instituições de ensino e produtivos das empresas de mobiliário escolar. Nesta fase também ocorre o desenvolvimento projetual, através de esboços e modulação 3D. A fase avaliativa conclui com um redesign do projeto, através revisão por especialistas da área de Design de Produto do protótipo, feito previamente ao início da dissertação, e da investigação e projeto realizados até ao momento. A projeção de um mobiliário escolar que acompanhe a inovação tecnológica é necessária, bem como o uso de novos materiais e ações que são executadas para o desenvolvimento de um projeto, facilitando o processo criativo que ocorre nas aulas de Projeto, nos cursos artísticos. Ao mesmo tempo deve ser um mobiliário que respeita a ergonomia do seu utilizador, manipulável para o seu conforto em diferentes cenários de trabalho que enfrente. E é isto que motiva a investigação deste projeto final - a proposta de um equipamento de Design que corresponda às necessidades funcionais e dimensionais destes alunos e os auxilie na sua performance académica. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The classrooms of the Art and Design courses have not evolved with the times, using very traditional school furniture and room layout, which do not favour and degrade the health and well-being of the students. These are unprepared for their work materials and the necessary actions to carry out the projects - impacting their productivity. It is possible to observe furniture damaged by time and use, difficult to maintain and inappropriate for the setting and time-space where it is inserted. In the development of this investigation and final project, a mixed methodology was used, using interventionist, non-interventionist and qualitative methods, with the purpose of substantiating the project and producing the best equipment for the user. The process was divided into three methodological phases: exploratory, generative and evaluative. In this document, it is possible to observe the theoretical framework of the different areas of investigation: education, health and well-being, design and engineering. The exploratory phase is based on more theoretical foundations - literature review, analysis of case studies, the market where the final product will be inserted and observation of the final target audience in a classroom context. The generative phase focuses on the generation of content, with interviews carried out to better understand the administrative aspects of educational institutions and the productive elements of school furniture companies. In this phase, the design development also occurs through sketches and 3D modulation. The evaluation phase concludes with a redesign of the project, through a review by specialists in the field of Product Design of the prototype, made prior to the beginning of the dissertation, and of the investigation and project carried out so far. The design of school furniture that accompanies technological innovation is necessary, as well as the use of new materials and actions that are performed for the development of a project, facilitating the creative process that occurs in Project classes, in artistic courses. At the same time, it must be furniture that respects the ergonomics of its user, manipulated for his comfort in different work scenarios he faces. And this is what motivates the investigation of this final project - the proposal of a Design equipment that corresponds to the functional and dimensional needs of these students and helps them in their academic performance. | pt_PT |
