This report is the result of the curricular internship for the Master's degree in Education and Training, with a specialization in Social and Cultural Development. It describes the experience gained over six months at the Fundação Cidade de Lisboa (FCL). The FCL is a Non-Governmental Organization for Development that works in citizenship education, inclusion and interculturality, as well as socio-educational development and academic success. During the internship, I participated in the project "Focus on Inclusion," which aims to promote education and social inclusion in Santa Clara, especially in the priority intervention areas of Sete Céus and Alta de Lisboa Centro. Additionally, I was involved in an international project for educators and professionals, oriented towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The dynamics of the internship allowed me to work in two distinct areas of non-formal education: i) youth education, social inequalities, and community intervention; and ii) adult education, sustainable development, and international projects. Additionally, at the conclusion of the “Foco” project, I was given the opportunity to create and launch a theater workshop club focused on fostering the socio-emotional development of children and young people. The report is structured into three chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical framework on the main themes of the internship. The second chapter addresses the political guidelines of the "InterChange for the SDGs" project. The third chapter is dedicated to the description and analysis of the internship experience, detailing the mission of the FCL, the projects developed, the activities carried out, the challenges faced, and the lessons learned. The internship was an enriching educational experience, always guided, whenever possible, by a people-centered approach. However, it also raised several questions that still require reflection, providing me with inspiration on how to act in the future. Among these questions, the need to deepen research on the relationship between school dropout and the various factors associated with it emerged.
