Os recursos tecnológicos e os trabalhos de grupo no ensino da área de integração numa escola profissional do Alentejo

O presente relatório descreve a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Curso de Mestrando em Ensino da Economia e da Contabilidade no Ensino Secundário, pelo que reflete o percurso da lecionação das aulas numa turma de 10º ano do Curso Profissional Técnico Auxiliar de Saúde, na Escola Profissional de Cuba.
A disciplina lecionada foi Área de Integração e o tema-problema foi a Cidadania Europeia. Este módulo teve como principais objetivos: despertar o interesse e dotar os alunos de conhecimentos sobre a União Europeia e os direitos e deveres dos cidadãos. No final do tema os alunos foram capazes de identificar as principais etapas da construção europeia, conhecer os órgãos e instituições da União Europeia, a sua composição e funcionamento, compreender alguns dos mecanismos decisores dos órgãos e instituições da UE, identificar direitos e deveres envolvidos na cidadania europeia e os seus mecanismos de defesa e questionar o futuro da União Europeia num mundo globalizado.
A forma como foi lecionado o módulo permitiu aos alunos o contacto com as novas tecnologias, com aulas dinâmicas e motivadoras, através da exploração de conteúdos em PowerPoint, vídeos, imagens, jogos pedagógicos e a realização de trabalhos de pares/grupos.
No decurso das aulas os alunos desenvolveram sempre atividades com o intuito de os motivar e ao mesmo tempo praticar e aplicar os conhecimentos adquiridos.
Verificou-se que os alunos gostaram das tarefas solicitadas, colaboraram sempre ativamente quer com os colegas quer com a mestranda.
Os instrumentos de avaliação foram de natureza formativa e contínua, pela observação do envolvimento dos alunos na realização das atividades e tarefas. De realçar, também, as apresentações orais, onde os alunos foram questionados sobre os conteúdos apresentados.
Como forma de avaliar a opinião e perceção dos alunos face ao tema de investigação foi necessário solicitar a colaboração dos mesmos no preenchimento da entrevista diretiva.
This report describes the Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master’s Degree in Teching of Economics and Accounting in Secondary Education, thus reflecting the course of teaching in a class of the 10th grade of the Vocational Course of Technical Health Assistant in Cuba Vocational School. The subject taught was Integration Area and the theme-problem was European Citizenship. The main aims of this module were: to arise interest and provide students with knowledge about the European Union and the rights and duties of citizens. At the end of the topic, students were able to identify the key stages of the European integration, to know the organs and institutions of the European Union, its composition and functioning, to understand some of the decision making mechanisms of the organs and institutions of the EU, to identify the rights and duties involved in European citizenship and its defense mechanisms and to question the future of the European Union in a globalized world. The way the module was taught allowed the students to get in touch with the new technologies, with dynamic and motivating classes, by exploiting contents in Power Points, videos, pictures, educational games and by doing peer/group works. During the classes, the students developed activities aimed at motivating them and, at the same time, at practicing and applying the knowledge acquired. The students enjoyed the requested tasks, actively collaborated with both their colleagues and the graduate student. The evaluation tools were of a formative and continuous nature, observing the involvement of students while performing the activities and tasks. The oral presentations, in which students were asked about the contents presented, should also be stressed. In order to assess the opinion and perception of students on the research topic, it was necessary to ask for their help in preparing the directive interview.
