This article explores the relations that emerge from the works presented by Quim Cantalozella (Girona, 1972) at Objectes banals (Casa de la Paraula, Girona), one of his latest exhibitions, consisting of a pictorial proposal that, broadly speaking, deals with the latent symbology of things and objects, and their forgotten burden. This article seeks to relate what Cantalozella proposes in the exhibition with the concepts of aura and involuntary memory considered by Walter Benjamin, and later recovered by Georges Didi-Huberman
